What do you do when you don’t have an existing mount to use on your new camera? Well, you have two choices. You either make your own or you use someone else’s. In this case Panasonic chose the latter. Leica has had a long relationship with Panasonic, so it’s no surprise that they have leveraged Leica’s L mount for use on their new camera. The mount is the same mount that can be found on Leica’s SL cameras. If you aren’t familiar with the Leica SL, don’t worry, it wasn’t a very successful camera. Despite having a full frame 24 MP CMOS with 4000 × 6000 pixels with a pixel pitch of 6 × 6 µm² on an active surface area of 24 × 36 mm, a very good electronic viewfinder and shutter, the SL was a sales disaster. Not only was it very expensive ($5995 USD), but the price of the lenses put many a potential customer off. The SL lenses ranged in price from around $4700 USD all the way up to $6395 USD.
I don’t doubt that you can have good(everything is relative) FF lens / APSC boby combination, that’s why I said "most of the time". the Canon 85mm f/1.8 is a good example: it gives 21Mpx resolution on a Canon 5dmkIV, and 10Mpx on Canon 760D (which is the average kit lens quality) [DXO]. So yes, you don’t have much choice if you want a 85mm f/1.8, but the Sigma 50-100mm F1.8 DC HSM A would give you way sharper images (but a bit bigger,…)
A third, the Clean Power Alliance in Los Angeles, “would have to cut into its financial reserves to offer those rates while offsetting an additional $125 million in unexpected costs to customers” caused by Southern California Edison’s inability to predict energy prices this summer, the Los Angeles Times reported.
While Canon missed the boat on a few specs, it’s still a very nice camera for anyone looking to move up from intermediate level DSLR bodies. It’s also pretty clear that Canon (like most flagship companies in their respective tech, e.g. Apple iPhones) almost always hold back some of the specs for refinement and integration on the next model release. I don’t blame Canon for this, it’s business, Sony did it too. Legendary reliability, professional quality images, and great lenses; it’s hard to complain with that from Canon. Give Canon and Nikon both a few years to integrate and improve specs. Anyone expecting the world’s perfect camera with Canon’s very first full frame mirror-less body was sure to be disappointed either way. I do not think this camera was designed for professionals looking to switch from top of the line DSLRs to mirror-less, it was intended for intermediate photographers looking to upgrade from mid-level bodies.

And vloggers will love that Canon did what Nikon did not, integrating a fully-articulated rear display that can flip out and turn forward, giving users the ability to film themselves better. Wong loved the electronic viewfinder and the camera’s fast autofocus as well.

I did some looking at it purely from a business perspective. If you look at Sony, for example, it has had its a7r series out for about five years and is now on its third iteration, the Sony a7riii. That means Canon has had almost five years to sit back and look at how developments have played out. During that time, the two traditional giants have seen a number of people move over to mirrorless systems, albeit with the need for them to use an adapter for their legacy lenses.
We found this problem a couple of years ago (it’s in a YT video). It happens with both the Metabones and Sigma (mostly towards the corners). It starts around 20mm or so and gets worse as you get wider. Maybe it’s because the Sony E-mount is narrower than Canon and the light from superwides enters at a very steep angle.
If the body had lower-priced matching lenses, I do think that starting off with the cheaper model rather than the pro would have been a smart move. If there are any issues, Canon has the chance to iron out the bugs before unleashing it on more demanding pros. It also gives the camera a chance to build up some word-of-mouth buzz (or not) before the consumer holiday shopping season starts, though it also gives Nikon a chance to see how well its higher price is received before announcing the price of the Z6.
Multi-pump drives are common sight in mobile hydraulic systems. These drives consist of a gear drive inside a bell housing that connects to a gasoline or diesel engine. The opposite side contains one or more standard 2- or 4-bolt flanges for mounting hydraulic pumps. This configuration provides several benefits. For one, two or more identical pumps can be connected to provide nearly identical hydraulic output flow from each. Or different sized pumps can be used provide output flow proportional to the displacement of each pump.
