Nikon has announced that it’s developing a 58mm f/0.95 lens for its Z Series. The manual focus lens will be the fastest lens ever created in Nikon’s history.

Since its cameras are native mirrorless, they may not need an adapter the way you need to mount a DSLR lens on a mirrorless camera; the adapters adjust the distance between the sensor and the lens (the flange distance) to compensate for the absence of a mirror.

I find the fully articulating screen with the GH5 a total pain. If I have my headphones and or HDMI plugged in, it’s suddenly a fixed screen because both of those get in the way of articulation – making it pretty useless for any real video work.

I agree. Shooters used to make fun of the word “autofocus” just a couple years ago. Once people started getting their hands on Canon’s DPAF those naysayers started to grow quiet. When you use it on a gimbal, it’s easy to see just how powerful (and important) a tool it is for small crews and single shooters. I really don’t consider one man gimbal shoots without it now. I think it’s important that Panasonic deliver a mildly successful AF system with this camera. It doesn’t need to be the best in the market, but it does need to work well.

"You’re also using the area of the lens with the most resolving power", yes but still not enough for the pixel size of APSC sensors. It doesn’t mean you’ll have a bad pictures, but you could get better result with a lens mad for APSC.

An existing propane tank was moved from the standpipes down to the bottom of the hill during the project in order to provide easier access to refill it, requiring a new propane line.
