American officials should consider shutting down the San Ysidro border crossing at night in response to sewage spills from Tijuana, former Rep. Brian Bilbray suggested in a weekend talk show.
Right now, we are focusing on the area where all fixer-upper projects originate: the workshop. It’s a narrow enclosed, uninsulated area that runs the entire length underneath our home, between the pillars that raise us 20 feet above sea level. It houses a furnace, hot water heater, shower, and an old beige beast of a water-treatment contraption which we seriously hope is not treating our water because, if so, it is infusing it with dead-spider and rusted-metal particulate.
PS. “pro shooters do their best work behind the camera”… So pro shooters must not light their scenes.
But one city councilman noted the replacement program doesn’t include homes with inactive or past-due water accounts.
As Crowd Sorcerer says, the whole photographic and video industry is rushing to full frame. Like Lemmings. Because the manufacturers have got to make you constantly want to buy new cameras and lenses mainly to stay in business. Not because it’s better, or an improvement. I walked around CineGear this year and observed the same thing, everyone is all hyped about FF. If you take everyone to mean the manufacturers. But as far as users, meh, gear heads are excited but I don’t see a mass stampede in Television production, for instance, to switch from S35 to FF.
Maintenance said they ordered a special part that came in on December 14, however, the glue needs at least two days to dry.

Matthew has won 38 ACS Awards and in 2016 he won the Award for Best Cinematography at the 21st Asian Television Awards.
It’s been a long time since Sony launched the full frame mirrorless revolution with the a7R a7 and way back in 2013. Finally 5 years later, all the major manufacturers, Nikon, Canon, Sony, and now Panasonic have full-frame mirrorless cameras that are capable of shooting video and stills.

Canon does not have that luxury today. Professionals aren’t going to be thrilled about taking that kind of bath, nor, for that matter will most people with more than one lens. There will be a whole lot of people taking that opportunity to make sure some other manufacturer isn’t offering something more…and unlike 1987, we’ve all heard that another manufacturer is.
I agree. Shooters used to make fun of the word “autofocus” just a couple years ago. Once people started getting their hands on Canon’s DPAF those naysayers started to grow quiet. When you use it on a gimbal, it’s easy to see just how powerful (and important) a tool it is for small crews and single shooters. I really don’t consider one man gimbal shoots without it now. I think it’s important that Panasonic deliver a mildly successful AF system with this camera. It doesn’t need to be the best in the market, but it does need to work well.
