Photographer Luis Gabriel Gerena has done a comparison and produced some slightly alarming — albeit very limited — results regarding sharpness when shooting with a wide angle lens.

If you keenly follow where the smart money getting deployed, you would not miss Apollo Pipes. Canon does not have that luxury today. Professionals aren’t going to be thrilled about taking that kind of bath, nor, for that matter will most people with more than one lens. There will be a whole lot of people taking that opportunity to make sure some other manufacturer isn’t offering something more…and unlike 1987, we’ve all heard that another manufacturer is.
